Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth met on the set of The Last Song in 2008, dated for a decade and tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the Franklin, Tennessee home that Cyrus is said to adore.
According to People.com a source said “They always wanted a small, private celebration with family and close friends and that’s what they got. Miley seems ecstatic.”
“She loves her Tennessee home and was very happy about having the ceremony there,” the source added.
Cyrus chose a slinky ivory silk satin corseted draped Vivenne Westwood gown. The gown is said to be from the designer’s couture collection and is available, made-to-order at the designer’s London and New York boutiques for $8,600. It suited Miley’s petite frame, looked timesless and oozed old Hollywood glamor.
Liam Hemsworth chose a pair of white sneakers, paired with a black suit, white shirt and a black tie.
The beautiful bride’s mother, Tish also shared a photo where she stood in front of a lavish floral arch with her husband Billy and Miley who held a bouquet of white flowers and eucalyptus branches. She captioned the photo ‘This makes my heart so happy.’
Rumours of the Cyrus and Hemsworth wedding began earlier this week when the couple’s friend Conrad Jack Carr posted photos from the couple’s wedding on Instagram stories. In the photos you could see Miley Cyrus in her Vivienne Westwood gown and Liam Hemsworth stood amongst bright colored Mr and Mrs balloons. Also present were Cyrus’s mother, Tish and her sisters, Noah and Brandi, as well as Liam’s brothers, Chris and Luke, as they all gathered to cut what appeared to be the wedding cake.
After their first meeting in 2008, Hemsworth proposed to Cyrus in 2012 only for the couple called it quits a year later but were said to have rekindled their relationship around 2016.
The two make a lovely couple. We wish them well.
