The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced that they are expecting a second child.
Meghan, 39, and Harry, 36, chose today, Valentine’s day for the special announcement. The accouncement was accompanied with a stunning black and white photo taken in Los Angeles, remotely, via an iPad by their friend and longtime photographer, Misan Harriman, who was in London. The beautiful photo captures a smiling (and barefoot!) Prince Harry – as he looks lovingly at his beautiful wife Meghan, who gently cradles her baby bump as she lays in his lap.
Harriman tweeted, “Meg, I was there at your wedding to witness this love story begin, and my friend, I am honoured to capture it grow. Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on this joyous news!”

Responding to the couple’s news, Buckingham Palace said: “Her Majesty, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales and the entire family are delighted and wish them well.
The baby will be the Prince of Wales’ fifth grandchild and the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh’s 10th or 11th great-grandchild, if he or she arrives before or after Zara Tindall’s baby, which is also due in 2021. He or she will be eighth in line to the throne and is expected to be a Lord or Lady, but the duke and duchess may once again opt for Master, like Archie, or Miss, with the surname Mountbatten-Windsor.
The Sussexes’ announcement comes on February 14, almost on the same date (February 13, 1984) that the pregnancy of duke’s late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales was announed when she was pregnant with Harry in 1984, gracing the front pages on February 14.
